You will have to find a local company that can freeze dry them for you and they will stay as fresh looking as the day you were married. However, there are other flower drying agents you can try if freeze-drying is not an option. The flowers will still look almost as fresh as that special day. The best way to preserve your orchid wedding leis is by using a silica gel or silica gel powder. When using the powder, completely cover the orchid wedding leis and seal them in an airtight container. In a couple of days, check on them to see if they need more drying time. Once they are completely dried you can use an acrylic spray to seal in the color.

Never use air-drying as a method for preserving your orchid wedding leis as this will cause them to turn brown and wilt. It will take around one month for the lei to completely dry and you will not be happy with the outcome.
